Plugs are sometimes called �flesh tunnels�. They are quite thick cylindrical pieces of jewelry that are worn in stretched openings. Their thickness vary so one can choose a plug of size 10, 12 or more depending on how stretched exactly his or her piercing is. They also come in different lengths. Plugs can be made of various materials such as metal, plastic or mother of pearl. Often they are decorated with glitter or jeweled. Plugs require two rubber rings to be held in place.
