| Piercing tapers are used to stretch the opening of a piercing. They are look like tusks, the only difference being that they are usually straight and used specifically for stretching. One side of the taper is thin while the other is quite thick so the wearer can gradually push the taper through the opening making it wider and wider. This process must be very slow, as stretching faster than one size in two weeks might be dangerous.
