Nose piercing is a very old form of piercing. It is even mentioned in the Bible. Usually it is the nostrils or the septum that are pierced. For such piercings ring-shaped jewelry is the most common. Another option is having a nose stud on the side of the nose. These are usually worn by women as they find the little shiny things very attractive on a small nose. It is worn through the small flap of skin at the top of the nose, between the eyes, though never through the bone.
